Millionaires Meditate: My Mentor

One of the most common reasons for not meditating is time.
I often hear people say, “I really need to learn how to meditate, but I just don’t have the time.”
Trust me, I get it. I really do.
So I want to tell you a bit about my mentor, Jeff Walker.
After convincing my hubby that it’d be an awesome idea for me to travel pregnant and for us to take our toddler from Australia to Arizona (mwhahahaha!)…I was blessed to be able to attend his 3 day workshop.
And you know how he started his workshop? After playing this awesome song repeatedly!
He started his session with a GUIDED MEDITATION! It was just amazing. Jeff was up on stage, about 1000 of us in the crowd being guided through a meditation at a business workshop.
That blew me away.
I knew Jeff meditated. But to find out he’d been meditating for 15 years and risked his business reputation to not only talk about it but to lead us all through a meditation? Brilliant.
But the main thing I wanted to share with you is that this is a a super busy guy! He has a family, a wife, many interests to follow and an epic business that has made him a millionaire. If there was anyone I know that didn’t have time to meditate, it would be Jeff!
The thing is, he also shared that to fit meditation into his day, he simply (not easily! but simply) has to say no to something else.
To fit meditation into his day, he has to say no to something else.
To fit meditation into YOUR day, you have to say no to something else.
It might be less time on Facebook, or Netflix, or reading trashy magazines. I’m not saying don’t do these things at all. I’m just saying, that if meditation is important to you, you’ll need to back off on other things that take up your time.
