Become productive: 5 tips to help you achieve your goals!

If you put in the hours but don’t feel like you’ve achieved anything at the end of your day it’s time to get focused! Here are my top 5 tips to achieve your goals!

Plan the night before

Set 10 minutes aside before bed to write down what you need to do the next day. Prioritize the top 3 tasks and do these first the next day! Everything else is a bonus.

Goal review sessions

Schedule time to review your business goals weekly. It’s easy to deviate from your goals even in one short week! Trust me, I know, it’s called shiny object syndrome!

And review your life goals monthly too. Book it into your calendar and make it happen. It’s important to review your business and other goals regularly so you’re creating a life you love. As Michael Hyatt says, “If you lose your why, you lose your way”. Review your goals monthly and remember why you’re doing what you’re doing.

Plan and track your ‘to do list’

Need a practical planner to keep track of everything for you? Try making your own Bullet Journal. This little beast has been an absolute god send to keeping track of all my notes and lists.

Use the 50:10 minute work rule

Block out your work day in 2 hour blocks e.g. 8-10am. Set your timer to go off at 8:50am and then give yourself a 10 minute break (stretch, cup of tea, meditate) and then get back to work at 9am for another 50 minutes before your next scheduled break at 9:50am. Make sure you are working on just ONE task and shut off all other distractions to make this practice super effective.

Meditate for concentration, creativity and calm

Whether this is when you first get up in the morning, or when you’re working the 50:10 minute rule, get some meditation into your day. Meditation helps you concentrate, gets your creativity flowing and makes you feel good, all so you can work more effectively and attract your ideal client!
